We here and the Marcus 'Ole Broke Foot' Guillard Foundation present, to you, the opportunity to offer your monetary contributions toward the general maintenance of the costs of living during these troubled times.
As many of you have heard, Our good man Marcus sustained some pretty serious injuries to both his feet during this past holiday. Happy New Year!!! Yes, indeed, both heels fractured, the right one a minor chip with an estimated healing time of 6-10 weeks and the left...well, that is a bilateral calcaneus fracture which basically means that his x-ray looks like a shattered windshield in a Kansas City lightning storm. The estimated healing time for that one is 3 months with a possible 6-10 months before full weight can be used on that side.
The implications of this situation may be obvious. Although his insurance fortunately covers much of the medical costs, being a small business owner, he is not eligible for many of the programs offered to basic workers in the system. There is a chance he will not be able to get enough work in his state of health to cover the costs of basic living and to continue to support his business.
Any help would be more than appreciated.
